Welcome all Glamazons!

I've been contemplating the title of this blog for a long time now.  I wanted something catchy and fun. Something that will look good on business cards. Something that if I ever crack open the craft room and make crap to sell, I can use the same name for my Etsy shop. (Please Lord, let it be!)  And of course something that vaguely describes me. Tall order, right?

So... the other weekend I decided to break down and hook up the big TV I got myself for Christmas. (nothing like procrastination at my house!) Did you know after years of not having TV, there is still nothing on during Saturday afternoon? 

I found the retro TV station. Sweet! What was the first thing I see? The famous Star Trek episode, the one with the Tribbles. As my friend says, it's possibly one of the best Star Trek episodes ever! Plus, it's William Shatner. I can't help but love him.

And what comes on next, but Batman and Robin, and the ever amazing cat woman, Eartha Kitt!!

How exciting! The first couple things I ever watch on TV are so epic!! Then, just as I'm getting up to start to clean the house, I heard the TV announcer say "stay tuned for the amazon princess." Of course I thought he said GLAMAZON PRINCESS. and I said to myself out loud, THAT"S IT!! " I FOUND IT!'' What a great title! And, "Aww! It's a sign! Eartha Kitt, and Lynda Carter in all their glamorous 60's and 70's glory! Both in the same day!" 

So who is this amazon princess you ask? Why it's no other than Wonder Woman. 

Badass AND beautiful

I'd like to point out that her outfit is NOT made from stretchy fabric.That blue bottom is pieced within a inch of it's life. See that 1" facing around the leg openings? It's probably lined and boned too. I can only imagine how hot that thing was, for being so small. She looked amazing no matter what!!

So all you lovely readers, that's how I came up with my blogs' title, "Glamazon Princess." From my very first day of watching TV. See, it is productive :) 

I think we are all glamorous and beautiful in our own way. Some days I need to strive a little harder than others, (as I sit here with a box of tissue and my cold medicine handy) but that's the challenges of life. At the end of the day, if we have shown kindness and love towards others then we will always be remembered as being beautiful. 

So, Welcome to my blog. Yes, you! You are beautiful!
